Spreadsheet View in Truckpedia TMS

The Spreadsheet View in Truckpedia TMS is a powerful feature designed to help dispatchers, managers, and teams manage loads more efficiently. Think of it as your personalized control panel—fully customizable, filterable, and shareable—giving you a live, interactive overview of your operations.

1. What Is the Spreadsheet View?

The Spreadsheet View is a dynamic, interactive grid that displays your load data in a format similar to Excel or Google Sheets—but fully connected to your Truckpedia instance.

Each row represents a load, and each column represents a field (e.g., Load Number, Driver, Status, Reference, Amount). You can interact with every cell, apply filters, add notes, highlight entries, and even open loads directly by clicking a hyperlink.

2. Creating a Custom Spreadsheet View

You can build a spreadsheet tailored to your specific workflow or preferences. For example:

  • A customer wants to view load status ( open, invoice generated etc.).

  • Lets create a custom view called ABC Daily.

  • This view only shows filtered loads with a status of the load, updated live as new data comes in.

How to Create a Spreadsheet View:

  1. Click on “Add Spreadsheet” to start a new view.
  2. Double click on the “new spreadsheet” tab, Give it a name (e.g., "ABC Daily", etc.).

  1. Use the + (plus) icon to add fields such as:

    • Load Number

    • Reference Number

    • Load Amount

    • Load Status

    • Driver

    • Truck

    • Notes (custom text field)

  1. Click Submit – your sheet will populate with the corresponding data.

You can rearrange columns by simply dragging and dropping. For example, you might want:

  • Load Reference next to Load Number

  • Load Amount at the end of the row

3. Filtering and Custom Conditions

To make your spreadsheet more actionable, you can apply custom filters and conditions:

  • Filter by Direction (e.g., Inbound)

  • Filter by Load Status (e.g., Delivered, In Transit)

  • Combine multiple conditions to drill down to specific loads

This way, each user can create a view tailored to their responsibilities. It helps break down a complex pipeline into manageable daily tasks.

4. Inline Navigation & Highlights

Each load in the spreadsheet is hyperlinked, meaning you can:

  • Click into a load to see full details

  • Stay within your spreadsheet framework when viewing or returning

Plus, you can highlight rows using colors. For instance:

  • Use yellow to mark loads you want to revisit

5. Sharing and Access Control

Once a spreadsheet view is created, you can share it with your teammates:

  • Click Share icon in top right corner.

  • Select the team member.

  • Set access level:

    • View Only – great for avoiding accidental edits

    • Edit Access – for users who need to update the view

Example: If someone frequently changes spreadsheet settings by mistake, you can give them view-only access to maintain stability.

6. Sub-Sheets and Advanced Use

You can go beyond one sheet and create sub-sheets such as:

  • Inbound Loads

  • Outbound Loads

  • Today / Tomorrow / This Week

  • Market-specific buckets

This helps segment your operations and improve focus. These views appear as tabs in your navigation bar next to “List” and “Pipeline.” You may need to refresh your screen for new views to appear.

The Spreadsheet View in Truckpedia is like having a personalized dashboard for every dispatcher or team member. Whether you want to track loads for the day, manage a region, or monitor driver activity—it adapts to your workflow.
