If you're using a WEX, Fleet One, or EFS fuel card, Truckpedia can integrate with your account to automatically pull in fuel transactions. This allows you to track fuel expenses by driver and load, without manual entry.
Step 1: Complete the WEX Data Sharing Form
We’ve provided a Data Sharing Document that needs to be submitted to your WEX or Fleet One account representative. This gives Truckpedia permission to access your fuel transaction data.
- We’ll email this document to you directly.
- Once submitted, WEX will process the request and send you two emails with your FTP login credentials.
Step 2: Watch for Two Emails from WEX
After completing the data sharing step, you should receive your FTP credentials:
- Email 1 of 2: Your WEX username
- Email 2 of 2: Your WEX password
These emails usually arrive within 48 hours.
Step 3: Connect Your Fuel Card in Truckpedia
Once you receive both emails, you have two options:
Option A: Connect it yourself
- Log into your Truckpedia account.
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Fuel Card.
- Click the blue icon under Action next to WEX.
- Enter your username and password from the two WEX emails.
- Click Submit.
Option B: Let us connect it for you
- Simply forward both emails (username and password) to your Truckpedia contact.
- We’ll enter the credentials and confirm once it’s connected.
Step 4: Wait for Your Data to Sync
Once connected, WEX needs up to 24 business hours to refresh and begin syncing your fuel data.
After that, you’ll see transactions show up in Accounting > Fuel Expenses inside Truckpedia.
