      Load Tracking Features in Truckpedia TMS

      This article explains how to use the tracking features in the TMS to share load updates with customers or brokers. It covers automated tools like collaborator emails and load status updates, as well as manual methods such as sharing a unique load URL

      Tracking Methods

      1. Collaborator Emails for Automated Updates

      • Navigate to Dispatch > Load Details.

      • Enter one or multiple email addresses into the Collaborator Email field (separate multiple addresses with commas).

      • Recipients will automatically receive tracking updates as the driver interacts with the load.

      2. Manual Sharing via Load URL

      • Under Activities in a load, locate the three-dot menu.

      • Click to copy the unique URL for the load.
      • Paste this link into an email to share real-time tracking for that specific load.

      3. Automated Load Status Updates

      Automated load status in Truckpedia TMS sends real-time updates to a designated email whenever a driver updates the load status, keeping customers informed without manual effort.

      • Go to the Customer File in Truckpedia TMS.

      • Configure an email address to automatically receive load status updates whenever a driver interacts with the load.
        • Use this for direct customers who require consistent updates to the same email.

      • Click Save

      4. Tracking via Website

      If you are subscribed to our Marketing Module, you have the option of creating a webpage that includes the tracking option. 

      • Navigate to Settings > Edit Company Website.

      • Enable the Tracking Page feature.

      • Customers can input a reference number to view load status directly on your Truckpedia TMS webpage.

      • Automated Load Updates: Best for direct customers requiring regular notifications.
