Setting Up Locations to Track Incidents
If you want to track incidents by location, follow these steps:
Create Locations (Tags):
- Navigate to Settings → Tags.
- Create location-based tags for each terminal, distribution center, or site you want to track.
- These tags will allow you to filter and analyze incidents by location.
Adding and Managing Incidents
Once tracking is enabled, you can manage incidents with detailed records.
Recording Incident Information:
- Log an incident by entering critical details such as:
- Type of accident (e.g., preventable, at-fault)
- Location of the incident
- Incident severity (e.g., minor vs. major damage)
- Assignment to specific team members for follow-up
Uploading Files & Notes:
- Attach supporting documents such as:
- Police reports
- Incident photos/videos
- Internal safety reviews
- Add notes to provide context or updates on resolution progress.
Sharing Incident Information:
- Generate shareable links for external parties (e.g., insurance companies, legal teams).
- Send incident details directly via email from the platform.
Viewing & Analyzing Incident Statistics
Once you’ve set up tracking, you can analyze safety data.
Accessing Statistics:
- Navigate to the Statistics tab in the Safety Module.
- Filter incidents by location, date range, or type.
Reviewing Incident Data:
- Track key data points including:
- Incident count per location
- Breakdown by type (e.g., trailer damage, tractor damage, theft)
- Trends over time
Comparing Incident Trends:
- View year-over-year comparisons to track improvements or risk areas.
- Generate visual reports & graphs to analyze safety trends.
Exporting Incident Reports
For reporting and compliance, incidents can be exported.
- Export incidents to Excel spreadsheets for further analysis.
- Generate reports for compliance audits or internal review.
By using the Safety Module, you can track, manage, and analyze safety incidents efficiently. This ensures better risk management and improved safety protocols.
