Step 1: Go to Automation Setup
- Click the Automation in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Select Create Automation.
Step 2: Choose the Trigger
- Under Trigger Type, select:
→ When driver clicks on
- Under Trigger Option, choose:
→ Upload
This means the automation will trigger when a driver uploads POD or delivery photos from the Driver App.
Step 3: Configure Your Actions
In the Run Actions section, choose what should happen when this trigger is activated.
You can:
- Send an email to the dispatcher (assigned to the load)
- Send an email to the customer (if added to the load collaborators)
- Send an email to specific recipients by entering their emails manually
To email people outside of the dispatch or customer roles:
- Select “Send an email to other”
- Enter email addresses separated by commas
Click Submit once done.
Important: Assign a Dispatcher to the Load
For dispatchers to receive automated alerts:
- You must manually assign them inside the load.
- Go to Dispatch, open any load.
- Under the Dispatcher section, select their name from the dropdown.
Summary:
- Automations can trigger when drivers upload PODs or delivery photos.
- You can send notifications to dispatchers, customers, or any custom email.
- Dispatchers must be assigned inside the load to receive alerts.
